Reflection

This week I got to practice my writing skills during the writing task where we had to expand on a story we were given. Having a limited amount of time to do this required effective planning. We had five minutes in the beginning to plan, I used a lot of that time to come up with a story line that I ended up changing while I was writing. I think I should have thought my ideas through a bit more instead of going straight into writing the story. I also need to think about pacing myself because I found that I had only written half the story when there was not much time left. Overall I think I need to work on planning effectively and pacing myself when I am writing.
